Meet the Tutors

Elizabeth Heggart

Elizabeth Heggart is a driven and determined educational practitioner. She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor in Science degree from UNSW. Since that time, she has worked as a Program Coordinator for GERRIC (The Gifted Education Research and Resource Centre at UNSW) and recently returned from teaching in England at Chafford Hundred Campus.

During her time at Chafford Hundred Campus, Elizabeth taught science and mathematics up to A Level (university entrance exams.)

More recently, Elizabeth has been employed as a Learning Advisor at St Mark’s Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens, NSW. In this capacity, she is teaching Science and Mathematics.

Currently, Elizabeth is working at McCarthy Catholic College, in the Trade Training Centre, teaching Senior Science to HSC students.

Elizabeth has extensive experience teaching and tutoring individuals, from primary age through to university level.

Keith Heggart

Keith Heggart has a deep and abiding interest in understanding how each and every student can achieve their best. He graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Arts (English and History) and a Bachelor of Education in 2003. He has since completed a Masters of Education at UTS

Keith Heggart has worked in a number of different schools, including Kincoppal Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart and Randwick Boys’ High School. He has also worked overseas, most recently at Chafford Hundred Campus, where he was the Assistant Principal in charge of Teaching and Learning.

Keith has also worked as a Leader of Learning at St Mark’s Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens.

At the moment, Keith is working as a teacher of Business Studies to HSC students at McCarthy Catholic College, Emu Plains, as well as continuing work on his doctorate, where he is exploring digital, citizenship education.
